Tips for traveling to USA

America is a vast country with a diverse culture and abundant beauty. Every traveler before coming here should follow the following handy tips to make the journey pleasant and hassle free.

  • When flying during Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Years, be sure to arrive at the airport two hours before departure.
  • Morning flights are less likely to be delayed than afternoon and evening flights. Break journeys are good for USA since the travelling will push you off gear.
  • Passport and tickets should be kept on hand luggage on all times.
  • Wear a lanyard with a plastic passport holder for easy I.D. access.
  • All valuables, electronics, and medications should be kept in carry-on luggage. Packages should never be wrapped.
  • Do not lock your bags as the TSA will cut the lock off of your luggage if it is chosen for a random inspection, rather use a TSA approved lock that may be opened by security agents via a universal TSA code.
  • Currency to carry should be US Dollars. It’s a good idea to carry some money in cash and some in Travelers cheques.
  • All flights and hotel reservation in USA will require a Credit card.
